KiAy, born 1980 in NE, CH • lives & works in GVA, CH • graduated from HEAD & CUI, GVA • fell in ❤︎ with VHS & Commodore 64 as a little girl & became an AV & web artist as a grown up • has been featured in both institutional & cyber or off-space exhibitions in Europe and Asia • has been a pillar of the Mac Gyver Manifesto DIY pirate collective • focuses on the process of individuation, cognitive borders & the multiplicity of reality • explores the “human no-human” paradox with regular dives into the Freudian "unheimliches" and the Uncanny Valley • likes the number 7 but loves the number 4 • is not part of the art market • not now, not tomorrow, probably not ever.
